Year 11 students selected as Duke of Edinburgh Leaders

It is with a lot of pride that we congratulate two Year 11 students on being selected to be Duke of Edinburgh Award Young Leaders. After a vigorous selection process we have just learned they have passed and been selected. This important role will involve training to manage the DOE programme with younger students in the school and to support The Manager Mr Salmon. They will both lead and mentor teams of Year 9 students on the Bronze Award in all sections of the award and on completion of the year they will be awarded with a National Certificate, possibly at St James Palace.
